Allotments

There are approximately 140 individual plots at the following sites:

Fernhills (Duckmead Lane)
Lower Green (Rake Road)
Mitchells (Hill Brow Road)
Kelseys (Mill Road)
Riverside Railway Walk
Princes Bridge (Andlers Ash Road)

There is currently a waiting list for plots.

The allotments are a registered charity.

The Grounds Committee is responsible for the allotments and conduct inspections 4 times a year.

There is an annual Best Kept Allotment Competition organised jointly by the Liss Horticultural Society and LPC.  A regular inspection is undertaken by a volunteer and an award is given to the allotment holder/s who have consistently maintained a high standard.  The competition has been positive in encouraging allotment holders to take more general care and pride in their allotments.

Your allotment rent for 2010 is now due:

Small plot - £12.50
Medium plot - £19.00
Large plot - £25.00

If you wish to add your name to the waiting list, please send an email to lisscouncil@aol.com or contact the Parish office.
