Local Charities

There are local charities which can help residents of the local area.  These usually have specific objectives - if you think you, or someone you know, may qualify then get in touch directly with the charity. 
 
Liss and Greatham Sick Poor Fund
To supply invalid foods, invalid comforts and extra fuel to persons who are sick and with poor incomes.
 
The Dorothea and Mary Cole Foundation
Financial assistance outfits clothing tools instruments or books to enable beneficiaries leaving school, university or other educational establishment to enter a trade profession or calling.
 
The Simon Wood Liss Youth Fund
The benefit of boys and girls of the age of five years to twenty-one years inclusive who are inhabitants of the parish of Liss and its immediate vicinity.
 
The Liss Heart Charity Trust
Relieving sickness by providing and maintaining specialist cardiac facilities equipment and training to serve all persons resident in the area of Liss and all patients of the medical practices administered from Liss.
