Parish Plan
Analysis of the findings of the June 2011 exhibition and the September 2011 questionnaire has been completed and a draft of the Parish Plan written. Editing of the document is currently in progress.
The completed Plan was submitted to the Parish Council, EHDC and the South Downs National Park Authority for approval, following which it will be available to support future requests for assistance, financial or otherwise, in achieving the aims of the Plan.
It is hoped that the Plan will be ready for submission before the end of 2012.
The approved Plan will be available for all to see as part of the Parish webpage. It is not our intention to make the document available in hard copy.
Village Design Statement
The current Village Design Statement, made available some ten years ago, is now dated and does not meet the standard required for adoption by the planning authority. A revised statement has been written and again, is in the process of editing and illustrating. This is an important document inasmuch as when it is adopted by the planning authority, it forms part of the conditions against which applications for development within the Parish are judged.
We are targetting to submit the Statement for adoption by the end of the year.
