Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10am to 2pm.



Liss Parish Council employs 7 members of staff in total who report to the Clerk (aside from the Clerk who reports to the council):

Dick Bowery, Clerk and Responsibile Financial Officer. Office based (part-time - Mon/Weds/Thurs). Dick is the Council's 'Proper Officer' and has overall responsibility for carrying out the Council's functions. As Responsible Financial Officer, Dick has responsibility for financial affairs and resources.

Sarah Smith, Assistant Clerk. Office based (part-time - Mon/Tues/Weds/Thurs). Sarah clerks the Planning, Buildings, Grounds and Liss Pavilion Committees and deals with associated projects and issues.

Frances Cook, Admin Officer. Office based (part-time - Mon/Weds/Thurs). Frances has responsibility for the Highways and Review Committees and deals with village hall administration and allotments.

Luke Mannerings, Groundsman (full-time). Based at the Groundsman's Hut in Newman Collard Playing Fields. Responsibilities include maintaining the three recreation grounds, the first section of the Riverside walk and issues relating to the six allotment sites.

Assistant Groundsman (part-time). Based at the Groundsman's Hut in Newman Collard Playing Fields. Assists Luke in carrying out his duties as above.

Tim Pay, Caretaker/Cleaner with responsibility for the Village Hall and the West Liss Pavilion. Tim can be contacted on 07833 538978. Please note, however, that enquiries regarding bookings should be made to the office.

Michael Jarmin, Litter Picker (part-time) who looks after the village centre and its environs.
