Liss Parish Council is looking for two new councillors. Helping decide what housing goes where; traffic and road improvements; developing the use of the new Pavilion and other parish facilities; working with the community on future priorities. These are some of the ways councillors can contribute to the village’s development.
Relevant knowledge and experience can be useful in the role, but enthusiasm and a ‘can do’ approach is even more important.
Tempted but not sure? Why not have a chat with Parish Clerk, Sarah Smith, or one of the councillors (the Clerk will happily put you in touch)?
To apply send a summary of your skills, experience and expertise and your reasons for applying to the Clerk via e-mail or to the address below by 30 September.
Informal interviews will follow and then Liss Parish Council will consider candidates for ‘co-option’ to Liss Parish Council at a Council meeting on 19th October 2020.
A copy of this notice has been sent to the Returning Officer at East Hampshire District Council.
