Details of how residents of Liss can pay their respects following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, have been confirmed.

Members of the public are invited to sign Books of Condolence, which will open on Monday in the following locations:

Liss Parish Council Office
• St. Mary’s Church
• The Triangle Community Centre
• The Temple Inn

The War Memorial green has been designated an area for members of the public to attend, reflect and lay flowers and other tributes as a mark of respect. All cellophane and plastic should be removed from flowers prior to being laid.

St. Mary's Church is also open as a quiet place to mourn, reflect and to light a candle.

As a mark of respect, the flag at The Royal British Legion and St. Mary's Church is flying at half-mast during this period of national mourning.

Today at 12 noon, the bells of St. Mary’s Church will ring out across the village in muffled sadness, as a mark of respect to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
