The New Liss Pavilion is open for Business!

23.07.2018 The site has been cleared for the construction of the new Pavilion.

20.06.2018 At its meeting on 18th June, Council approved the signing of the contract with Tildan Construction for the construction of the new Liss Pavilion. Council also agreed the budget and considered other key issues for the delivery of the project. Demolition will commence early in July.  

01.05.2018 At the Liss Parish Council meeting of 30th April 2018, it was RESOLVED to seek the approval of the Secretary of State for the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to apply for a loan of £500,000 up to 25 years to fund the new Liss Pavilion. The annual loan repayments will come to around £27,510 a year. These will be repaid from precept budget.  

27.04.2018 68% of respondents voted in favour of a small increase the Council Tax precept to help deliver the community pavilion! Liss Parish Council will now meet next Monday to consider seeking the approval of the Secretary of State for the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to make an application to the Public Works Loan Board for a loan of up to £500,000 to enable delivery of the facility.
