The Liss Pavilion is a modern
venue situated on the West Liss Recreation Ground, a short walk from the
village centre and mainline train station. It was built by Liss Parish Council
in 2018-19, with the support of residents, recognising the need for a larger
and improved multi-use community facility for the village.
The Pavilion was formally opened by the Nigel Atkinson ESQ HM Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, on 17th May 2019.
Designed to be sympathetic to its surroundings and location within the South Downs National Park, it aims to be sustainable and benefits from solar panels for electricity, rainwater tanks used to flush toilets, substantial insulation and underfloor heating.
