The Liss Pavilion is a modern venue situated on the West Liss Recreation Ground, a short walk from the village centre and mainline train station. It was built by Liss Parish Council in 2018-19, with the support of residents, recognising the need for a larger and improved multi-use community facility for the village.

The Pavilion was formally opened by the Nigel Atkinson ESQ HM Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, on 17th May 2019.

Designed to be sympathetic to its surroundings and location within the South Downs National Park, it aims to be sustainable and benefits from solar panels for electricity, rainwater tanks used to flush toilets, substantial insulation and underfloor heating.

Fully equipped kitchen with a commercial dishwasher, large range cooker with two ovens, and boiling water dispenser

Serving hatch from kitchen to the main hall. Dutch split doors from kitchen to West Liss Recreation Ground

Quiet room for breakout or quiet sessions

Patio doors in the main hall that open onto a verandah  linking Pavilion to West Liss Recreation Ground

Football Association specification changing rooms - including male & female referee and disabled changing  facilities

On-site parking for 16 cars & cycle stands

Fully accessible inside and out with hearing loop available

Licensed to play live or recorded music

Light and Versatile Space

 

The Pavilion is modern, light and airy purpose-built community centre. Featuring underfloor heating, fully equipped kitchen (please click here for the kitchen inventory), inbuilt sound system, WIFI & hearing loop and a separate "Quiet" room.

It is fully accessible with 16 parking spaces including disabled parking.

The Pavilion holds a TheMusicLicense (PPL & PRS United) allowing hirers to play licensed music during their hire sessions.

We welcome bookings for many activities including:

The Main Hall

Main Hall measures 11.8 x 9.6m (click here for a floor plan). With chairs and tables to cater for the following capacity:

• Dining - 80 people (click here for a sample layout)

• Conference - 100 people (click here for a sample layout)

• Standing only - 200 people:

We have hosted many children's parties at the Pavilion and permit bouncy castles to be used for an extra fee.
