Liss Parish Council Elections

Election of Parish Councillors for Liss
The nomination process for seats on Liss Parish Council closed on Tuesday, as was the case across in parishes and towns across the district. A notice of uncontested election has issued for Liss and Liss Forest (meaning fewer people stood than seats available).
The following were duly elected for Liss: Keith Budden, Ian James, Don Jerrard, Clive Olley, Paddy Payne, Andy Smith, Karen Tordoff and Clayre Williams. For Liss Forest, Sheila
Baldwin and Nick Wilson were duly elected. The three vacancies arising from the elections will be advertised in due course.
We welcome back several of our current councillors, we welcome two new councillors (although both have served previously on the Council!) and we say a sad farewell and a big thank you to outgoing councillors.
