Liss Parish Council was very saddened to hear of the sudden and unexpected passing of Councillor Nick Wilson on 16th October 2023. This came as a great shock and all councillors and staff unite in expressing our deepest condolences to Nick’s wife and family at this sad time. Nick was vice chair of the council and an extremely active councillor, sitting on all committees and working tirelessly to deliver on behalf of the village. Having spent over five years on the Council and been vice chair for half of that time, Nick spent much time on the projects he was committed to delivering. These ranged from delivering recreation strategies and outcomes including the pump track and Mill Road Community Garden, as well as in many other areas, whether drainage improvements or maintaining key partnerships with other groups and organisations.
